Polisi Buyar: The Display Font That Nails Visual First Impressions
Readability Checks for Screens, Feeds, and Fast Scrolling
On light backgrounds, Polisi Buyar maintains its legibility best when the font weight is set to its natural medium or bold setting. Thin strokes can wash out, especially if the image has bright highlights. For light overlays, I slightly darken the area behind the text or apply a subtle gradient mask. On dark backgrounds, the font truly shines — the delicacy of the curves emerges clearly, and the contrast feels intentional. For reels covers, I avoid placing the type too close to the edges where mobile cropping might cut off the characters. A simple center placement with generous breathing room keeps the message intact.
